- AIAA Meetings Papers Searchable Citation Database
- The AIAA Meetings Papers Searchable Database, updated quarterly, contains author, title, paper number, and conference date and location information for papers presented at AIAA meetings from 1999 to present.
- Applied Science and Technology
- Indexes over 400 periodicals in science and technology. Recommended for undergraduates as a first stop for articles. Covers 1983 - date.
- Catalog Xpress
- Facilitates access to vendor catalogs for parts selection. This is an index to the full-text of scanned catalog pages from 15,000 manufacturers.
- Civil Engineering Database (ASCE)
- Provides access to all ASCE publications published since January 1973. The Civil Engineering Database provides access to over 80,000 bibliographic and abstracted records. This database is available for anyone.
- Compendex
- The computerized version of Engineering Index (1970 - date). It provides access to journal articles, proceedings and conference papers, plus some technical reports and books covering all engineering disciplines, applied physics, electronics, materials science and fields related to science and management.
- Current Contents
- Provides citations to articles listed in the table of contents in leading scholarly journals in all fields, latest year only. This database allows electronic interlibrary loan service for faculty, select desired articles and click the "order" button at the bottom of the page.
- Dissertation Abstracts
- Source for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses in the United States. Includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from 1861 to those as recently as last semester. Citations from 1980 forward include 350-word abstracts. Titles published since 1997 have 24 page previews.
- DTIC Technical Reports
- Defense Technical Information Center provides access to scientific and technical information. STINET provides access to all unclassified citations from December 1974 to present.

- Covers public health, safety, and industrial hygiene and developments in safety science and human factors research. Includes information on aviation and aerospace safety, environmental safety, nuclear safety, medical safety, occupational safety, and ergonomics.

- The primary index for electrical engineering, electronics, physics, computer science and control and information technology literature from 1969 to date.

- knovel has a database of some of the leading engineering reference handbooks, databases, and conference proceedings.
- Lexis Nexis
- Covers to a wide range of news, business, legal, and reference information in a variety of databases. Specific company news, forecasts and trends driving an industry are available in full-text.
- Mechanical and Transportation Abstracts
- Provides comprehensive access to research on mechanical and transportation engineering from many worldwide reference sources. This bibliographic database covers 3000 journals and includes 320,000 citations.
- NTIS (National Technical Information Service)
- Resource for accessing the latest U.S. government-sponsored research and worldwide scientific, technical, engineering, and business-related information. NTIS is the central source for unclassified and publicly available information from research reports, journal articles, data files, computer programs and audio visual products from Federal sources. Information is also available from international governments and organizations, including those from Canada, Japan, the former Soviet Union, Western and Eastern European countries. Covers 1964 - date.

- A comprehensive database which provides a single file for searching all fields of Engineering and Technology.
- TRIS (Transportation Research Information Services)
- Purpose is to enhance transportation research, safety, and operations by sharing knowledge and information. It covers transportation research published in books, journal articles, technical reports and other media from federal, state, local and association publications from the 1960s to the present. TRIS contains selected links to full text or sources of full text and to the International Road Research Documentation (IRRD) Database for further coverage of international transportation. This database is available for anyone.
- Web-of-Science
- Gives researchers access to multiple years of all three ISI citation databases (1977 - date). It includes ten years worth of the enhanced version of the Science Citation Index. Also, provides links to some full-text journal articles.

- Provides citations to papers presented at major scientific meetings around the world since 1990.

- The AIAA was formed in 1963 through a merger of the American Rocket Society (ARS) and the Institute of Aerospace Sciences (IAS). The purpose is, "to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics and to promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits."

- The National Transportation Safety Board is an independent Federal agency that investigates every civil aviation accident in the U.S. and significant accidents in other modes of transportation -- railroad, highway, marine and pipeline -- and issues safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents.
