Record Display
What is included in a academic database record is dependent on the type of sources housed in it. Generally, the record will include:
Author(s)- Title
- Source the item was published in
- If the source is a journal or magazine, also included
- Volume and issue number
- Date published
- Page numbers
- Subject Terms or Descriptors
- Abstract or Summary of the item content
Additional information, such as illustrations, charts, maps, or bibliographies are sometimes included in the record.
