Reserve items are books, notes, manuals, article copies, etc. which are in high demand because they are required reading for classes. Many instructors place their course-related material on reserve in the libraries so that all students have equal access to it. Reserve material generally checks out by the hour or overnight. (Contact the course instructor for the library location of reserve materials for a specific course.)
