Voyager OPAC Searching

I can distinguish between the online catalog (OPAC) and Voyager.
I can identify 4 types of search forms in the catalog.
I can conduct keyword searches using the required operators & search tools, including the Boolean operators AND, OR, NOT.

I can refine a search using the Quick Limits and Limits option.
I can conduct an Author Browse search using the appropriate field label.
I can differentiate between Search and Assisted Search.
I can conduct a Library of Congress Subject Heading search using the appropriate field label.
I can combine 2 search sets in Assisted Search when given a complex search scenario.
I can locate online journals and websites in the catalog.
I can perform a nested keyword search.
I can set post limites using the Quick Toolbar.
I can demonstrate how to perform an advanced kwyword search using field tags.
I can add records to "Your Bookbag."
I can set search preferences within "Your Library Account."

This course has clearly stated objectives.
The instructor speaks clearly, gives examples, slows down and repeats as necessary.
The instructor asks questions and listens to answers, and allows me to ask questions and gives helpful responses.
Strategies such as calling for participation, asking students to demonstrate skills and walking through examples are used by the instructor to help increase learning.
The facilities for this course are excellent.
I highly recommend this course.
I would enjoy taking another class which utilizes the learning techniques and qualities as noted above.
